God's Plan for Salvation

God loves each of us and gave his only Son that we might live; and He offers a wonderful plan for our lives.  We are all sinners separated from God and in our flesh cannot know and experience God’s love for us.  Jesus Christ is the only provision for our sins.  Through him alone can we know God, experience his love and know his plan for our lives.  We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; only then can we know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives.

We all have sinned….
Romans 3:23
 23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1 John 1:8   8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Penalty for sin….
Romans 6:23   23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:18  18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We cannot save ourselves….
Titus 3:5  5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

God has provided a plan for salvation….
Ephesians 2:8-9  8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
John 3:16   16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 14:6   6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Repent, Confess and Repent….
Luke 13:3   3I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
1 John 1:9  9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Romans 10:9   9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Acts 16:31  31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Now is the time to choose….
Joshua 24:15  15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
2 Corinthians 6:2  2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Share your knowledge of Christ…..
Matthew 10:32-33  32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.   33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Join a Bible believing church…..
Acts 2:47   47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Tell  others….
Matthew 28:19-20  19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Church Covenant

"Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior; and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge and holiness; to give it a place in our affections, prayers and services above every organization of human origin; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrine; to contribute cheerfully and regularly, as God has prospered us, toward its expenses, for the support of a faithful and evangelical ministry among us, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world. In case of difference of opinion in the church, we will strive to avoid a contentious spirit, and if we cannot unanimously agree, we will cheerfully recognize the right of the majority to govern.

We further engage to watch over, to pray for, to exhort and stir up each other unto every good word and work; to guard each other's reputation, not needlessly exposing the infirmities of others; to participate in each other's joys, and with tender sympathy bear one another's burdens and sorrows; to cultivate Christian courtesy; to be slow to give or take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, being mindful of the rules of the Saviour in the eighteenth chapter of Matthew, to secure it without delay; and through life, amid evil report, and good report, to seek to live to the glory of God, who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.

When we remove from this place, we engage as soon as possible to unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's word."

What we believe

The earth and all therein was created by God; Man, the crown of God's creation, was created to mirror the Glory of God; God is a spirit and those that worship Him must do so in spirit and truth. The church, called after the name of Christ, is the beacon atop the world to provide light to the unsaved and a dying world.
